The 2nd World Forum "Communication on Top' was held on February 17-18th in Davos, Switzerland.

Among the participants were top-managers of leading world-known companies, leaders of large-scale political and social projects and world-famous "stars' in the area of consultancy and communications.

 

Alexey Glazyrin, CEO of the Newton Group of Companies, Vice-president of Russian Public Relations Association welcomed the participants of Communication on Top Forum in Davos.

 

Alexey Glazyrin named the Forum a platform, where "we can compare notes, determine the lifetime of various ideas and concepts, which influence social, political, economic processes and events, coordinating activity of experts and organizations'.

As the CEO of Newton PR & Communications said, "today we live in a diverse world, it isn't better or worse than it was in the past “it' s another. And now it is time to speak about new public relations and new marketing, possibilities of social media and changing role of political communications'.

A. Glazyrin said new communications became more democratic in form, but for all that the world faced a loss of senses and values. At the same time public relations had another mission in the future world “ not only to analyze reality, but also to project it. Alexey Glazyrin wished all participants of the Forum effective work, useful professional dialogue and fruitful cooperation.

These wishes corresponded to plans of the organizers. The 2011 Forum participants examined:

current challenges to the profession and the communications industry, crisis PR and reputation management, publicity in off/online and rating of efficiency of new media.

 

The Communication 4 Future (C4F) Award ceremony was also in the program of the Forum. C4F is an annual award for communication professionals, demonstrating new trends within the development of the communication industry during the respective year.
